1) Generally how much does it cost to develop a website?
It actually depends on how simple or complex a website is. Some websites have a few pages with limited, static content and simple logic whereas some websites have dynamic content, interactive features with large number of pages that are navigated. Commercial business enterprises have their website names ending with ‘.com’.
Likewise, educational institutes or universities will have website names ending with ‘.edu’
Generally, charitable trusts or ‘not-for-profit’ kind of organizations have ‘.org’ in their website names.Websites of Government organizations have ‘.gov’.
In short, the name of the website reflects the nature of business of its organization.

In FAQ no. 2, we have given the steps involved in development of a website. However, in general, it takes 3 to 4 weeks for creating a medium complex website. If the requirement is urgent, Brainlines can do it even in a week’s time.
6) Do we have to get the license or some kind of permission from Government Authorities for launching a website? (Something similar to Shop Act License?)
No. No such permission is required.

We use HTML, Flash, PHP, Photo-Shop, .Net, SQL-Server and such other technologies.

No, it is not possible as explained in FAQ no. 3. However, if ‘abc.com’ is booked but ‘abc.net’ if free, then you can get ‘abc.net’. The point is that ‘abc.com’ and ‘abc.net’ are not the identical names.
